We are still open during this current lockdown for all your optical needs. We are currently operating an appointment only system in order for us to control the number of people in the practice. Safety measures are in place, door handles and other touch points are sanitised regularly throughout the day. The test rooms and equipment along with all spectacle frames, are sanitised after each patient. Hand gel is available throughout the practice for everyone's use. When attending, please wear a face covering (unless you have an exemption). Stay safe and hope to see you soon.
Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 5.30pm Saturday: 9.00am to 5.00pm
Everyone wants to keep their eyes healthy, so it’s important to come in for an eye examination regularly. When you pop by one of our qualified optometrists will check your eyes both externally and internally, ensuring you have the best vision and your eyes are healthy.
The examination will take around 30-40 minutes, and will typically consist of a general chat about your eyes, your health, lifestyle and your medical history before the eye exam starts.
A typical comprehensive eye exam would include:
A discussion to evaluate your problems and needs
Binocular vision assessments to check how well your eyes work together
Intra ocular pressure measurement
Determination of whether any optical correction is necessary using state of the art Nikon digital phoropters and computerised 3D test charts
Detailed assessment of eye health using zoom slit lamp, O.C.T and Optomap Daytona
