I visited Donovan Smith today for the first time, having previously used other local opticians. I have to say that the service has been fantastic every step of the way, from the receptionist that made the appointment over the phone, to Parry, the optometrist who was exceptional, and Dave who looked after me with my order. I am so glad I made the call to DS. I would highly recommend.

I changed to Donovan Smith a couple of years ago after taking my Mum for an appointment, I saw the friendly and professional service she was given.

I went for an appointment on Tuesday morning with a eye problem, was given a full eye test, then referred to the hospital for further examination the very same day. Always very pleased with the service I receive.

I switched to Donovan Smith a few years ago, and have had nothing but top class service. The whole team are polite and friendly - and really patient when helping to choose a pair of specs from the wide selection. Recommend them if you want a proper optician that you can rely on.

Words cannot express how brilliant Robert & the team at Donovan Smith are. Robert detected a detached retina in my eye, it was caught early due to the technology of their Optomap Scanner and my sight was saved. Their customer service and attention to detail is impeccable. They have a superb choice of frames & sunglasses catering for all budgets. You will not get better eye-care anywhere in Yorkshire, the large chains cannot compare to the professionalism of this team.
